The form of the 111 Navy Chair (2010) derives directly from the legendary 1006 Navy Chair, which was designed for use on WWII submarines, where durability was vital. A key component of that strength, carried over to the 111, are leg stretchers, which typically are not found on plastic chairs and give the 111 a sturdiness to stand up to frequent use. The Navy Chair design constitutes proprietary Trade Dress. This is the authentic 111 Navy Chair by Emeco.
Each chair is made from 111 recycled plastic Coke bottles.
Production of the 111 keeps 3 million bottles out of landfills each year.
Suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
