With the Plinth Coffee Table (2017), Norm Architects wanted to rethink the centuries-old idea of a podium and celebrate the natural beauty of marble. Expert stone masters carefully select marble with the best composition and veining for Plinth Tables – each of which has unique markings that make it one of a kind. The result is a collection with multiple uses in the home, office, or showroom. These tables are hollow to make them easier to move but, due to the thickness of the marble, they’re still satisfyingly hefty, weighing in at 200 pounds for the Standard Coffee Table and 324 pounds for the XL Coffee Table. Made in China, Portugal, or Slovenia, depending on type of stone.
